Job Descriptions

The Human Resources Department is involved in several agency-wide aspects, including personnel benefits, staffing, recruitment, security, training, safety, publications, communication systems, and employee recordkeeping.

The Authority currently has an allocated staff of 52 permanent employees. Non-managerial and confidential employees are represented by the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, Local #2703, AFL-CIO.

The Human Resources Department maintains a multi-media library for employee reference and training, and has developed several training manuals in the areas of employee evaluation; program guidelines for safety facilitators, and pesticide applicator safety.
