The Migrant Housing Centers provide temporary housing to migrant farm workers available to them during the peak growing and harvest season, which is typically April through November. The Housing Authority manages four (4) Migrant Centers throughout the County of Merced.
Migrant farm worker families who want to rent a unit should contact the appropriate center for information regarding eligibility. The State of California, Department of Housing and Community Development, Office of Migrant Services subsidizes the cost of managing and maintaining the centers.
All units are furnished with stove, refrigerator, beds, kitchen table, chairs and the rent includes utilities.
