Position Summary
Reports directly to the Executive Director. May include supervisory responsibilities.
Management-level role reporting to the Executive Director, focusing on expanding affordable housing supply throughout Merced County while building community partnerships. Combines programmatic responsibilities including NOFA responses, project evaluation, underwriting, and HUD compliance with policy-oriented duties supporting housing initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree from accredited institution with coursework in economic/community development, planning, finance, public administration, or related field.
Experience
One year of progressively advanced experience with affordable housing policies and programs. One year with CDBG/HOME/ESG program administration.
Licenses
Valid California Driver License (or ability to obtain immediately).
Physical Requirements
Strong time-management skills, ability to organize competing tasks within stringent timeframes, conflict resolution capabilities, effective contract negotiation techniques.
Other Requirements
Proof of U.S. citizenship or authorized work status. Positive attitude and collaborative work approach.
