Project-Based Vouchers (PBV) is one part of the Housing Choice Voucher program. It helps pay for rent in privately owned rental housing, but only in specific privately-owned building or units.
Key Distinction: Project Based Voucher is limited to a particular property and cannot be transferred. In other words, the voucher is attached to the property.
