Position Summary
Serves as the general manager and is directly responsible to the Board of Commissioners for executing and operating all housing programs throughout Merced County. Also functions as Secretary-Treasurer and oversees all business-like functions of the agency's projects.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
Equivalent to four years of college training in Liberal Arts, Business, or Sociology.
Experience
Administrative experience in a position comparable to Executive Director of a Housing Authority.
Licenses
Valid California Driver's License (mandatory); must be insurable and acceptable to the Authority's insurance provider.
Other Requirements
Satisfactory physical condition for job requirements. ADA compliance. U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent resident status with employment authorization.
