Position Summary

Reporting to the Executive Director, oversees all financial operations including purchasing, internal controls, and staff supervision. Responsibilities encompass administrative and governmental fund accounting per GAAP standards, plus complex budget management.

Minimum Qualifications

Education
Bachelor's degree (120 units) in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field from an accredited institution. Equivalent experience may substitute at ratio of one year work experience per 30 units of education.
Experience
Minimum five years increasingly responsible administrative experience in finance and data processing, including two years in supervisory capacity. GAAP and HUD accounting background preferred.
Licenses
Valid California driver's license mandatory at appointment. Must be insurable with Housing Authority's insurance provider. Must qualify for bonding requirements.
Other Requirements
Full background investigation including credit report required. Pre-employment physical examination. U.S. citizenship or authorized work status. Drug-free workplace compliance mandatory.
